Refund Policy

This policy explains how Info Tree Services Private Limited handles refunds for consultancy engagements.

Effective date: 01 April 2026

What this policy covers

This policy applies to fees paid to Info Tree Services Private Limited for consultancy services. It does not cover statutory fees, government portal charges, bank processing fees, certification body fees, or any third-party charges, as these are paid directly to third parties and are governed by their respective terms.

Free first consultation

The first consultation with Info Tree is always free. You pay nothing until you choose to engage us for a specific scope, documented in an engagement letter.

Advisory fee refunds

If you cancel a paid engagement within 7 calendar days of signing the engagement letter and before any substantive work has commenced, you are eligible for a full refund of any advisory fees already paid, net of direct out-of-pocket costs (if any).

If substantive work has commenced within those 7 days, a pro-rated refund will be calculated based on the work delivered and the remaining scope. The pro-ration will be explained in writing.

After the 7-day period, advisory fees are non-refundable as the work is considered to be in progress.

Success-linked components

Where fees are partially or fully success-linked to a specific outcome (for example, sanction of a loan or approval of a grant), such components are only payable if the defined outcome is achieved. If the outcome is not achieved, the success-linked component is not payable and therefore does not require a refund.

Rejections by authorities

If an application is rejected by the government authority, bank, or certification body, Info Tree will analyse the reason and, where permitted by the scheme, prepare and re-file at no additional advisory fee. If the rejection is due to incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the client, re-filing may be treated as a new engagement.

Non-refundable items

Statutory, government and portal fees paid to third parties.

Third-party audit, inspection or certification body charges.

Work already delivered under the engagement letter.

Success-linked fees in cases where the outcome was achieved, regardless of subsequent client decisions.

How to request a refund

Refund requests must be made in writing to info@infotree.co.in with a clear explanation and a copy of the engagement letter. We respond within 5 working days with an assessment and, where applicable, a refund timeline.
