Confirm you're starting a new unit, not expanding an existing one. Confirm your education qualification meets the threshold for your project size.
Subsidy slabs
15–35% depending on category and location. Women, SC/ST, OBC, minorities, NE region and hill area applicants qualify for the higher slabs.
The DPR is everything
A bank-quality detailed project report is the single biggest difference between an approved and a rejected PMEGP file. Generic downloads will be rejected.
After sanction
Subsidy is parked in a lock-in account for three years. Premature closure can trigger clawback.
